Stripes…

Stripes are everywhere right now! You can find almost anything in a stripe. I must confess that I find myself buying a lot of striped items …from shirts, sweaters, tanks, tote bags, to dresses. I think stripes are so adorable !!! The good thing about owning striped pieces is that they will always be in style because they are a classic. I got this pretty little black and white number at the   J. Crew Outlet. I paired the dress with a neon pink belt and bracelet, bold yellow earrings and clutch to make it more modern and fun. This dress will be a staple piece in my closet because it can be worn so many ways.

Ikat…

When I first saw these ikat shorts my first thought was that these would be perfect for a vacation ! So , my next step was to plan the vacation.  I wanted to definitely go somewhere warm. Maybe the carribean ? I have already planned the vacation since then but where I’m headed off to will be revealed at a later date. In the meantime,  let’s talk about this look . The Ikat shorts are paired here with a classic chambray shirt. I felt the look needed a red cardigan and cobalt blue bubble necklace to make it pop!

Leopard…

A leopard dress can seem a little WILD to me, so I tamed it down by accessorizing it with neutral colors. This print is shown here with a sweet pearl necklace and pearl studded earrings which balance the outfit out.
