The Zig is Up…

Today,  I am wearing my favorite chevron dress by Bobbie Luxe . It’s called , “The Zig Is Up” in mint chevron. Her boutique is super great because all her items are affordable and are under fifty dollars !! This Chevron dress is chic and cozy !  I plan on adding  a mini fur vest and some tall boots to wear this in the Fall. Check out the other ways I plan on styling this dress below.

Head to Toe in Stripes…

This is a first for me…I have never paired a striped shirt with a striped skirt before. Who knew you could ? Now a days, I think you can pair stripes with stripes, or stripes with polka dots… or you could mix almost any print together. It’s almost like anything goes !  I felt that I could pair the two together because the colors are in the same color family. It also helped that the stripes vary in size too. This oufit inspired me to have more fun playing with patterns. I think when it comes down to it the most important thing is to be confident when wearing an outfit. Then YOU can wear anything!

Stripes…

Stripes are everywhere right now! You can find almost anything in a stripe. I must confess that I find myself buying a lot of striped items …from shirts, sweaters, tanks, tote bags, to dresses. I think stripes are so adorable !!! The good thing about owning striped pieces is that they will always be in style because they are a classic. I got this pretty little black and white number at the   J. Crew Outlet. I paired the dress with a neon pink belt and bracelet, bold yellow earrings and clutch to make it more modern and fun. This dress will be a staple piece in my closet because it can be worn so many ways.

A leopard dress can seem a little WILD to me, so I tamed it down by accessorizing it with neutral colors. This print is shown here with a sweet pearl necklace and pearl studded earrings which balance the outfit out.
